These terms govern your use of Study Stride, a study companion app for students. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. What Study Stride provides
A focus timer, planner, notes with AI summaries, spaced-repetition flashcards, an AI study tutor, and progress tracking with gamified rewards. The service is provided for personal, educational use.
2. AI-generated content
Tutor answers, note summaries and generated flashcards are produced by AI systems and may contain errors. They are study aids, not professional or academic advice — always verify important answers against your course material or teachers. We are not responsible for outcomes, grades or decisions based on AI-generated content.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to use the app in your country; if you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian first.
4. Acceptable use
When using Study Stride, you agree not to:
- Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing or infringes someone else's rights;
- Attempt to access, modify or delete another student's data;
- Interfere with the app's operation, or try to bypass its security or usage limits;
- Use the app for anything other than studying and learning.
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your content
Your notes, tasks and other content remain yours. By using the app you allow us to store them and, where needed, process them (for example with AI) to provide the features you request. We never sell your content.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app available and improving, but features may change, be added or be removed over time. We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
7. No warranty
Study Stride is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
